Welcome to Neue Meister: CEEYS celebrate their new album with the Berlin label
The brothers Sebastian Selke (cello) and Daniel Selke (piano) celebrate their Neue Meister debut with the album "WÆNDE". With their mixture of experimental sounds, the duo, called CEEYS, wanders between avant-garde and pop. They use the elements of jazz, ambient and classical chamber music.
With their album and photography project "WÆNDE" the brothers embark on a very personal journey through their own memories of East Berlin: " Brought up in the last decade of the former GDR, we use our releases to come to terms with our memories, impressions and feelings about these rather hybrid times."
The first single "Zanzibar" is now available and provides an unobstructed view of the musical spectrum of the musicians.
