Welcome to the team: John Metcalfe signs with Neue Meister

The British-based composer John Metcalfe will release his next album on Neue Meister, "Absence". Due for release on September 21st 2018, the label and the musician are already opening the second chapter of a fruitful relationship. Back in November 2017 Metcalfe presented himself to the German audience at the Berlin Neue Meister Concert. Together with singer Rosie Doonan, he performed three songs from the new album to an enraptured audience.

Born in New Zealand, Metcalfe's style is characterized by a broad spectrum of his own musical experiments and experiences. A trained violist he blends classical components with electronic and pop-related sound elements.
