Vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher & pianist Danae Dörken release the new album "Glass Two". For this project, the two artists have taken an in-depth look at one of the most successful composers of our time - Philip Glass. Together they present works from different phases of Philip Glass' life and contrast them with Pascal Schumacher's own works. Both the vibraphone and the piano are instruments with a multitude of harmonic and rhythmic possibilities, yet the duo decided on a minimalist style. Despite their reduction, the works they play unfold an incredible richness of timbre that impressively highlights the diversity and depth of their interpretations.
