New single out: Gisbert zu Knyphausen & Kai Schumacher perform ‘Der Leiermann’ by Franz Schubert

In Franz Schubert's famous song cycle 'Winterreise', the piece 'Der Leiermann' forms the conclusion. Deep and dreary in its setting, the art song is transformed into a new arrangement in the latest single by singer-songwriter Gisbert zu Knyphausen & Kai Schumacher. The additional instrumentation gives 'Der Leiermann' a previously unheard dynamic and emotional depth. This is the third single release from the album 'Lass irre Hunde heulen', which will be released on 10 September.
